Role Summary

The Odoo Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the end-to-end sales cycle of Odoo ERP and related business application modules including Accounting, CRM, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing, and Project Management. This role involves working closely with SMEs and enterprise clients to understand their business processes, identify automation opportunities, and position Odoo as a scalable, cost-effective solution.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the entire sales cycle for Odoo ERP and related modules (Accounting, CRM, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing, Project Management)
    • Engage with SMEs and enterprise clients to understand operational workflows and pain points
    • Identify automation opportunities and position Odoo as a scalable, cost-effective solution
    • Conduct proactive prospecting and lead generation to build a robust sales pipeline
    • Deliver compelling product demos tailored to the client’s business needs
    • Scope client requirements and translate them into viable solution proposals
    • Develop technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with customer goals
    • Lead pricing negotiations to secure favorable terms while preserving deal value
    • Coordinate post-sale activities and collaborate with implementation teams for smooth delivery
    • Work closely with technical team and project manager for seamless project handover
    • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement
    • Identify and act on upselling opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to travel and meet customers at least 70% of the time.
    • Experience in closing enterprise-level deals.

Experience & Knowledge Required

  • 2-4 years of proven sales experience with Odoo
    • Experience working in the IT industry is an added advantage.
    • Good knowledge of Odoo with professional certifications in the same.
    • Ability to understand customer business needs and write comprehensive proposals.
    • Ability to prepare solution value presentations.
    • Ability to write comprehensive sales reports and communicate and present the reports to senior management effectively.

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or IT-related field.
