Role Intent
As a Sales Specialist – Azure Infra, you are a business consultant with technical expertise working with our most important managed customers both Enterprise and SMEs focusing on Azure solutions. You possess executive presence, are able to engage with senior decision makers to uncover digital transformation initiatives and have a passion to learning how Azure cloud services can deliver digital transformation. You will develop and maintain an Azure Infrastructure expertise, able to identify projects, build a compelling business case, and drive the consumption project to production.
You will build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the C-suite level with technology decision makers. You will help customers evaluate their cloud strategy, determine approaches to application and data migration and modernization, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.
The Sales Specialist – Azure Infra must have knowledge in IT solutions specifically :
- Knowledge in understanding and articulating Cloud adoption Framework (CAF)
- Knowledge in understanding and articulating Azure Calculator
- Demonstrate deep knowledge, extensive experience, and proven success in deploying and managing production workloads in the cloud using containers and managing hosted Kubernetes environments in Azure
- Demonstrate deep knowledge, extensive experience, and proven success in migrating Windows Server and SQL Server-based production workloads, and production workloads running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or SUSE virtual machines (and/or MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases in Microsoft Azure)
- Demonstrate deep understanding of Azure migrate tools
- Demonstrate deep understanding of Microsoft Licensing
Job Description
Sales Execution:
- Engages in conversations with customers to introduce how other workloads could enable digital transformation areas that is aligned with the customer’s industry and turns opportunities into deals.
- Has a deep understanding of customers’ business and its priorities to drive conversations with customers on digital transformation across multiple solution areas, Creates guiding examples of digital transformation through seminars, workshops, Webinars, and direct engagement.
- Identifies opportunities to drive consumption and grow business with existing customers by initiating conversations, providing demos or quotes, and collaborating with partners or internal teams (e.g., Technical, Sales Professionals.
- Identifies customer business needs and technology readiness. Contributes to the development of solutions in collaboration with internal teams, Proposes prioritized solutions that align with customers’ needs. Articulates the business value of proposed solutions.
- Scaling & Collaboration– Ability to follow up to deal success & build relationships with CXO-level stakeholders.
- Skilled in identifying value-creation opportunities & in influencing, collaboration & relationship building.
Required minimum qualifications
- 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND + years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer a candidate who is Azure certified. AZ-900, AI-900, AZ-400, AZ-140,AZ-700, AZ-140
