Role Summary
The Cybersecurity Solutions Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales and adoption of non-Microsoft security solutions across mid-market and enterprise customers. The role requires a deep understanding of industry standard cybersecurity platforms, customer pain points, and how third-party solutions such as Sophos, Fortinet, CrowdStrike, and Check Point align with their needs. The specialist will work closely with internal sales, technical teams, and vendor partners to qualify leads, craft solution proposals, manage POCs, and close opportunities.
Job Responsibility
- Drive sales and customer adoption of Sophos, Fortinet, Checkpoint, non-Microsoft cybersecurity solutions across mid-market and enterprise segments
• Upsell and cross-sell non-Microsoft IT solutions to customers and clients
• Conduct opportunity mapping to identify and prioritize sales prospects
• Perform strategic solution positioning to align offerings with customer needs
• Deliver engaging customer demos to showcase product capabilities and value
• Drive post-sale enablement to ensure successful solution adoption and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with partner ecosystems to enhance delivery, support, and co-sell opportunities
• Develop deep technical and business understanding of industry-standard cybersecurity platforms and products
• Identify customer pain points and align third-party solutions (e.g. Sophos, Fortinet, CrowdStrike, Check Point) to address their needs
• Collaborate with internal sales, CSM and technical teams to strategize and support opportunity development
• Engage with vendor partners to coordinate sales efforts and leverage solution expertise
• Qualify leads through customer engagements and discovery conversations
• Craft customized solution proposals tailored to customer requirements and business context
• Oversee and manage proof of concept (POC) activities to demonstrate solution value
• Drive deal progression and close sales opportunities effectively
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, competitive products, and market dynamics
• Acquire and maintain good working knowledge of the organization’s software and services and a good understanding of their applications by uptake of partner trainings and certifications.
• Forecast, manage, and update sales pipeline activities using the Cloud Productivity Solutions CRM and other sales tools.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
• Ability to travel and meet customers at least 70% of the time.
• Experience in closing enterprise-level deals.
Experience & Knowledge Required
- 2-4 years of proven sales experience with a wide range of ICT solutions such as Infrastructure Cloud, Security, Business applications, Modern Work, Azure, Networks, AI, etc.
• Experience working in the IT industry is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Fortinet, Sophos, Checkpoint, and other solutions with professional certifications in the same.
• Ability to understand customer business needs and write comprehensive proposals.
• Ability to prepare solution value presentations.
• Ability to write comprehensive sales reports and communicate and present the reports to senior management effectively.
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or IT-related field.
